Jasmine Burnett

Lead Strategy Consultant
Based in Atlanta, Jasmine is a strategist, trained urban planner and creative consultant. She is also co-founder and co-owner of The Spoons Consultancy Cooperative, a Black-women run and staffed creative consulting cooperative.

With the Spoons Consultancy Cooperative, Jasmine has developed an extensive portfolio of storytelling, narrative-building and strategic planning projects. She has designed the communications infrastructure for groups like the Illinois Black Advocacy Initiative, Bold Ventures, The Guild Community, the Center for Disease Control's annual National Breast and Cervical Cancer Early Detection Program, and Chicago African Americans in Philanthropy. Most recently, she helped design and facilitate a strategic planning retreat for a coalition of federal reproductive rights organizations.​

Jasmine has also worked with a variety of social justice organizations to develop long-term strategies, manage effective programs, build multi-sectoral coalitions and conduct meaningful community engagement.

Jasmine received her B.A. in Government with a secondary in African American Studies from Harvard University. She obtained a Master’s Degree in City and Regional Planning and a Master’s Degree in Public Policy from The Georgia Institute of Technology.
